Tasting: Manokatsuru is produced on the small island of Sado in western Japan. Ken'ya Kudo, has inherited the brewing tradition of the previous brewer. At just 30 years old, he has won the National New Sake Competition Gold Medal and the IWC Japanese Sake Gold Medal for six consecutive years (the most in Niigata Prefecture). This sake boasts fresh fruit aromas, such as cantaloupe, grapes, and pear. It is medium-bodied, with elegant and delicate acidity, resulting in a smooth and easy-drinking palate.
